FORCE Technology is behind the technology in collaboration with Aarhus University and Aalborg University, among others. The new technology is called CorroSense.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An old saying goes &#8220;Out of sight, out of mind&#8221;. However, this is not a saying you can afford to live by when it comes to reinforced concrete structures. Over time, the reinforcement corrodes, and history documents several foreign examples of structures that have simply collapsed because the iron inside the concrete has rusted and lost its strength.
